    With DECC$POSIX_STYLE_UID enabled, 32-bit UIDs and GIDs are
    interpreted as POSIX style identifiers.

    With this logical name disabled, UIDs and GIDs are derived from
    the process UIC.

    This feature is only available on OpenVMS systems providing POSIX
    style UID and GID support.
