SORT, Output File Qualifiers, /OVERLAY
 *Conan The Librarian 

    Specifies an existing empty file that the output file is to be
    overlaid, or written to. The /OVERLAY qualifier is required when
    you use the /INDEXED_SEQUENTIAL qualifier.

      output-file-spec/OVERLAY
