EDT Routines, WORKIO
 *Conan The Librarian 

    The user-supplied WORKIO routine is called by EDT when it
    needs temporary storage for the file being edited. Call it by
    specifying it as an argument in the EDT$EDIT routine. It cannot
    be called independently.
