 NAME

   toupper - Converts a character to upper case.

 SYNOPSIS

   #include <locale>

   template <class charT>
   charT	toupper	(charT c, const	locale&	loc) const;

 DESCRIPTION

   The toupper returns the the parameter	c converted to upper case.
   The conversion is	made using the ctype facet from	the locale
   parameter.

 EXAMPLE

    using namespace std;

    locale loc;

    cout	<< 'a' << toupper('c') << tolower('F') << endl;
