Waits for I/O on a specific file to complete.

1 - Argument

 fd

    A file descriptor corresponding to an open file.

2 - Description

    The lwait function is used primarily to wait for completion of
    pending asynchronous I/O.

3 - Return Values

    0                  Indicates successful completion.
    -1                 Indicates an error.
